Many of our parents and grandparents used the sticky photo album pages (some like to think of these as magnetic photo albums).
You may be able to salvage the pictures and remove the adhesive. Search your phone book for the nearest scrap-booking store and take the photo album to them for assistance.
Never use a self adhesive page for storing pictures or documents that you may want to keep for the long run. If the sticky surface can hold the picture in place, it can soak into the picture and damage it.
